...Off Beat and Picture Perfect...

A darling program that is a little off beat and picture perfect at the same time....
...accompanied by a killer invitation suite that one would love to receive....
...makes me love this wedding. To see more photos, check out the blog of jasmine star for the wedding of Alicia and Steven posted on 5.29.2009.

...Parrott Design Studio...

Going by the saying that "all things are better with a parrott," the Parrott Design Studio is a gocco, letterpress and design studio that creates customized wedding invitations and stationery.

We are loving this invitation featuring deep purples and green. Did you catch that "Together with their parents" is above the tree at the top of the invitation and not sitting atop the bride's name?! We love seeing invitations that have a little twist of the nontraditional.

The insert cards that comprise this invitation suite are cohesive, yet not matchy matchy.
Why not get a little fancy with some of your wording? After all, it is going to be your wedding day! Trade in the word "Response" for "Respondez S'il Vous Plait."
There is plenty more to see over at the Parrott Design Studio

...Picture Escort Cards...

Such fans of this unique little escort card idea. The bride & groom took precious pictures with numbered signs corresponding to table numbers. When it came time for the big day, each guests place card was inserted into a small envelope along with the picture escorting them to their table at the reception!
Are you inspired yet? Start snapping those pictures, your guests will love their escort cards!

...BSB Invitations..

We are enjoying reading the recaps from the wedding of Jessica over at the budget savvy bride. Her wedding, in a word, was stunning. But we should have known that it would have been due to the sheer beauty of the invitations that she designed herself.
Now that, is a stack of pure gorgeousness! A job well done, Jessica! Thanks for letting us share!

...Vintage Stamps...

Looking for a simple way to dress up your outer envelopes?! Well, besides the obvious of having us make them penned & pretty with our calligraphy, you could adorn them with lovely vintage stamps! Vintage stamps come in all colors, sizes and illustrations so that it's easy to find a bundle that you love!

As found on Ruby Press via Wiley Valentine.

P.S. these puppies have since sold out from their shop on etsy.

...Ellie...

If you haven't ventured over to the mint design blog in a while, you are missing out on lovely eye candy. Ellie, the graphic designer behind mint has been posting images of the paper goods from her wedding!

We just adore the programs she crafted for her wedding ceremony.
We just don't even know where to begin! From the different patterns adorning each program to the lovely ribbon holding each of them together to the nontraditional fonts that were used....we love it all.
Forget adding a line in the program with directions to the reception venue. Ellie was clever enough to allow the directions card to stand alone and shine. With the words "Take me to the party," who could resist!?
I guess we weren't so surprised by the beauty of the programs and direction card since we saw her lovely invitations first. Here's just a little glimpse at their beauty.
Make sure to view Ellie's save the dates, guestbook, rehearsal dinner invitations and wedding recap! If you love her "style" and talent then you'll be happy to know that Ellie is now offering to design wedding paper goods for other brides based off of her wedding stationery designs!

...Penned & Pretty Calligraphy: Nicole's Place Cards...

One of our sweetest blogger brides, Danielle from East Coast Wedding, got married this past weekend! From the one sneak peak picture she has posted so far, she was a stunning bride! The week before her wedding she sent her place cards our way for us to make penned & pretty. We must say, her place cards were beautiful to begin with! We were loving the green boarder! We're not sure if she hand stamped each one of these herself or had them designed. Regardless, they were beautiful! And see the little symbols at the bottom left of the card? Those stood for the guests meal choice of beef, chicken, or veggie {Nicole circled each guests choice once we returned the place cards to her}! How darling!

Want to see more!? She posted a little glimpse of our work over at her blog here!

Congrats Nicole! We cannot wait for your wedding recaps!

...Cari...

Cari got married this past weekend and we just had to share all of the lovely paper goods that we penned for her. Here are just a few of our favorites.
Cari wanted signs to display at her wedding for her sparkler send off. She came up with the cute wording and we made it look pretty on paper. Cari's guests were lucky enough to be treated to cupcakes during the night and we crafted a sweet sign to go right along with them.
We didn't ask, but we're going to assume that bubbles were used in the couple's exit from the ceremony. Even if that isn't the case, the sign is just too adorable not to post.
Cari named each table at her wedding reception after a different feeling one gets from being in a wonderful relationship. Happiness was one of seventeen she came up with.
And last, but not least, we wrote out the place cards for the couple's reception on a large white card with raspberry ink {used on all the paper goods}.
Cari was the sweetest client and we hope that her day was as beautiful as the details that she allowed us to create for her!
